Complex Analysis and Designing
of piston-type compressors binding

The vibrations of gas motion in the pipeline binding (PLB), affecting compressor, can change its productivity and cause the extraordinarily large overrun of power. The increased level of pressure pulsation causes the mechanical vibration of binding, and is the principal reason of operating equipment death. Communications counted only at the static loading are not reliable enough in-process at presence of periodically operating forces. A gas pulsation in the pipelines of piston-type compressors pulls out the row of specific requirements to their planning and necessity of implementation of complex analysis, confirmative reliability of the developed construction, in which included:

  • Development of vehicles of extinguishing of pressure pulsation (buffer capacities or acoustic filters)
  • Acoustic analysis of gas highway of binding, necessary for determination of proper acoustical frequencies of PLB and detuning from acoustical resonance.
  • Modal analysis of PLB, necessary for determination of proper mechanical frequencies of areas of PLB , and detuning from mechanical resonance.
  • Static analysis of PLB, necessary for determination of level of virtual voltages and loadings at the elements of PLB, and also at building constructions of supports.
  • Dynamic analysis of PLB, necessary for determination of dynamic force from the pulsation of stream, estimation of working capacity of the applied supports, and also estimation of amplitudes level of vibratory displacement of pipeline areas.
  • Harmonic analysis of PLB, allowing to get the amplitude sizes of pressure pulsation with a complex of the generalized strained deform condition of the pipeline binding around all working range of compressor frequencies.
  • Hydraulic analysis of PLB, allowing to get the size of pressure losses at the flow of gas through compressor communications.

All cycle of calculations is conducted by the specialists of «LENNIIKHIMMASH» LTD with the use of eventual elements method, which allows to expect configurations of PLB of any complication and gives the complete picture of processes which take places at any area of designed PLB.
